Wuthering Waves (simplified Chinese: 鸣潮; traditional Chinese: 鳴潮; pinyin: Míng Cháo; lit. 'Sound Tide') is a free-to-play action role-playing game developed and published by Kuro Games. It was released on May 22, 2024.

Being an open world gacha game, Wuthering Waves has been compared to other titles of the genre such as Genshin Impact, but aims to place greater emphasis on its combat system compared to its predecessors.

Wuthering Waves

Baizhi is a free 4-star Glacio Rectifier-wielding Resonator in Wuthering Waves. Baizhi can heal your team both on and off the field. Her kit allows a team member who picks Euphonia to increase their ATK by 15% while she provides the whole team with a 15% All-Type DMG% increase. She is, therefore, perfect in any team comp you choose to play. Her heals are highly appreciated in the early game as they will allow you to explore faster without being in need to craft consumables. At RC6, she is great for mono-Glacio teams.

You Echoes options are primarily HP%.&nbsp;One of these patterns go a long way:

HP% -&gt; Energy Regen -&gt; Energy Regen -&gt; HP%% -&gt; HP%

HP% -&gt; HP% -&gt; Energy Regen -&gt; Energy Regen -&gt; HP%

HP% -&gt; Energy Regen -&gt; Energy Regen -&gt; HP% -&gt; HP%

Of course, sub-stats matter aswell. You have to look out for HP% Sub-stats first in the echoes before anything else. That's what Baizhi scales best with.

You have different options for the weapon:

You can go for <a href="https://wuthering.gg/weapons/comet-flare">Comet Flare</a> which gives you both ATK and HP%. That's balanced weapon for her stats.

<a target="_blank" href="https://wuthering.gg/weapons/cosmic-ripples" rel="nofollow">Cosmic Ripples</a>&nbsp;is also an option but focuses more on the dmg side of things.

If you like to go more into Energy Regen, then <a href="https://wuthering.gg/weapons/variation">Variation</a> is your weapon of choice.

Baizhi Guide

Encore is a 5-star Fusion Rectifier wielding Resonator in Wuthering Waves. Encore excels as a sub-DPS and provides substantial damage while off-field. Her kit involves her Resonance Skill and Forte Ability. Her animations are long, so animation cancel are your bread and butter and needed for her playstyle. She highly appreciates Verinas supporting and buffing capabilities and has great synergy with Sanhua. Early on, you can replace Verina with Baizhi.

You Echoes options are primarily crit chance. One of these patterns go a long way:

Crit Rate -&gt; Fusion DMG% -&gt; Fusion DMG% -&gt; ATK% -&gt; ATK%

ATK% -&gt; Crit Rate -&gt; Fusion DMG% -&gt; Fusion DMG% -&gt; ATK%

Of course, sub-stats matter aswell. You have to look out for Crit% Sub-stats first in the echoes before anything else. That's what Encore scales best with.

The weapons are straightforward: Go with something that slaps Crit Rate.

For instance, <a href="https://wuthering.gg/weapons/stringmaster">Stringmaster</a>&nbsp;has everything you need: ATK and Crit Rate.

<a href="https://wuthering.gg/weapons/cosmic-ripples">Cosmic Ripples</a> and <a href="https://wuthering.gg/weapons/augment">Augment</a>&nbsp;are also an option, but if you can go with Stringmaster. That's the best weapon!

Encore Build

Aalto is a Resonator that tries something from everything but doesn't excel at any of them. Can taunt or make decoys, support other Aero's and buff gunners with his ult.

For the Weapons we recommend these 3:&nbsp;<a href="https://wutheringwaves.gg/weapons/static-mist">Static Mist</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://wutheringwaves.gg/weapons/novaburst">Novaburst</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://wutheringwaves.gg/weapons/cadenza">Cadenza</a>.

Priority Wise you should aim for Static Mist because Stat wise it's the better weapon of the two (Legendary).

Wuthering Waves Aalto Build

Jinhsi is a 5-star Spectro Broadblade-wielding Resonator in Wuthering Waves. She excels as your main source of DPS. In order to build her forte gauge though, she would like to have units like Mortefi or Yinlin in her part.

For Weapons we recommend having Ages of Harvest, Lustrous Razor/Verdant Summit or Helios Cleaver.&nbsp;

She's pretty easy to pick up by beginner and scales with critical rate, which makes her easy to gear up in the early game. For her Weapons we recommend getting a Stringmaster since that gives her a big boost on Critical Rate. Cosmic Ripples and Augment is also an option.
